Halloween is here and so are the storms….
As early as 5 am, winds were gusting to 30 mph or close to that in places like Peru and Bloomington. Most of the morning rain has been light to moderate but steady.
For planning for the day….the roughest weather will mainly occur between 3 and 8 pm. Out of the state by 11 pm.
When Angela Buchman is on Eyewitness News tonight, gusts will be at peak and rain will fall during the entire evening rush hour.
Here are the “Big 3″ things to remember today …
1. Rain will be heavy. 1″-2” possible.
2. Winds will be gusty. Up to 40 mph gusts likely.
3. Slight risk of severe weather with the biggest threats being heavy rain and high winds.
Most towns have cancelled trick or treat for tonight and with good reason, the worst of the storms would be when kids would be outside.
Friday looks good with highs in the upper 50s with sun. Be careful and hang in there, it will get better tomorrow!
