The rain is now falling across central Indiana. It will be scattered overnight and through the Wednesday morning commute. There will be pockets of steady rain, low clouds and fog through early Wednesday.
Keep the umbrellas handy, as the chance for showers will linger through Wednesday afternoon. Highs will reach the lower 60s. There will be a few dry breaks, so if you need some dry weather check Live Doppler 13 Radar here at wthr.com or on our WTHR Weather App.
The strongest part of this developing storm system will arrive for Halloween. We are expecting heavy rain (1-2 inches possible) and strong winds (30mph+). This system is still developing and we will have updates on timing and the threat for severe winds. Right now, the southern third of Indiana is under a slight risk for severe weather on Thursday.
Friday will be dry, but a few showers mixing with sleet will be possible on Saturday. Sunday will be the dry and sunny day this weekend, with highs in the 50s.
