A chilly morning as temps have dropped into the low 70s. Later today our high will top out at only 71 degrees, tying the record for the coldest maximum temperature for the date. That mark was established back in 1917!
We’re not ruling out a stray shower or sprinkle today, bu most of us won’t see a drop. By Thursday we will see sunny conditions from start to finish and milder temperatures after near record lows Thursday morning.
A new upper level disturbance will get closer to us this wekend giving us at least a chance for showers Sunday. Long range indicators suggest a return to typical summer heat early next week.
