Hope you had a great weekend! I spent the afternoon at the farm of a friend with other friends enjoying the shade and beauty of an Indiana summer afternoon. It was dry there, but as has been the case for more than 2 weeks, other folks saw rain and thunderstorms. That is a trend that is not quite over yet.
We begin the morning with scattered thunderstorms in northern Indiana, but dry weather in the Metro Indianapolis vicinity. Later today, look for more scattered rain and storm chances arrive today and Tuesday, with heavy rain and strong storms possible Wednesday. Temps warm into the mid 80s through the middle of the week, but by Thursday we cool down and dry out.
We’ll be watching the cold front to our north. The closer it gets, the more rain we could see. I’m looking for Tuesday night and Wednesday as the best times for heavy downpours of rain.
