Raining outside now over much of Indiana and get used to it today, scattered thunderstorms are making for a damp morning rush hour.
No big changes to the Friday forecast, which will be soggy and stormy at times. Rain and areas of thunder arrive after midnight tonight and set the stage for a damp Friday morning commute.
We are under a slight risk for severe weather today. Look for some areas to get more than a quarter inch of rain.
Tomorrow looks great. We’re calling for decent sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70s. This is great news with Kids Day/Rookie Run, the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis, college graduations and the Indy Eleven and Indians games.
Mother’s Day remains warm and humid with isolated rain/storm chances. After a summer-like start to next week, long range indicators continue to point toward a cooler than normal trend arriving next Wednesday.
