Heavy snow will likely develop late this afternoon and continue tonight into Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, here are the projected snow totals. As of right now, the heaviest and highest snow totals will develop along I-70. So, the 10″ totals will more than likely come from that area.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Central Indiana through noon Monday. At times, snow will be very heavy and winds will gust up to 30mph.
Through 2pm today, a light wintry mix is in the forecast.
From 2pm to 7pm, heavy snow will begin to develop.
And, from 7pm to 7am, heavy snow is likely. I’m not ruling out thundersnow during this time.
Monday light snow showers will continue through the early afternoon.
The 50s are back in the forecast as we head into the weekend.
