It is a muggy, warm start to the day and in many areas we’re seeing fog this morning. This will all be followed by hazy sunshine and a slight storm chance tonight. Highs will top out at 89 but some towns could see 90 for the first time this year. Try and stay cool, because heat indices will be in the 90s to near 100 in spots.
Better storm chances arrive Monday night into Tuesday. There is the potential for multiple rounds of storms Tuesday… both in the early morning and afternoon. Another 1-3″+ rainfall is possible for some depending on the track and coverage of storms. This marks another unsettled stretch that brings daily chances of heavy storms as Indiana remains on the edge of the hot dome.
The rest of the week looks almost like Central Florida with daily chances for thunderstorms and highs in the mid 80s. We’ll keep you covered during the day on WTHR TV and WTHR.com.
