The winter that seems to never want to end is upping the ante tomorrow. We’ve discussed the possibility of snow all week long… and it appears there will be a swath of wet, heavy snow between Indianapolis and Louisville. A Winter Weather Advisory will begin at 5am Sunday for Bloomington, Columbus, Nashville, Greensburg, Seymour and Bedford. The advisory runs until 7pm tomorrow evening.
It’s a close call for the city of Indianapolis, but as of now I envision the greatest accumulation south of the metro. 1-3″ is likely south of I-70 to the Ohio River…with localized 4″ amounts possible.
I expect an inch or less for the I-70 corridor, and essentially nothing traveling north of Indianapolis. Subject to change and I recommend to stay with us for forecast updates heading into Sunday morning.
I’m working on the long-range forecast. Right now it can be summed up in one word: COLD! A 7day forecast you have to see to believe… though you might not want to see it if you’re wanting warmth.
