Winter Weather Advisory South Of Indianapolis Sunday

By · March 16, 2013 at 4:22 pm

The winter that seems to never want to end is upping the ante tomorrow.  We’ve discussed the possibility of snow all week long… and it appears there will be a swath of wet, heavy snow between Indianapolis and Louisville.  A Winter Weather Advisory will begin at 5am Sunday for Bloomington, Columbus, Nashville, Greensburg, Seymour and Bedford.  The advisory runs until 7pm tomorrow evening.

It’s a close call for the city of Indianapolis, but as of now I envision the greatest accumulation south of the metro.  1-3″ is likely south of I-70 to the Ohio River…with localized 4″ amounts possible.SNOW_MAP

I expect an inch or less for the I-70 corridor, and essentially nothing traveling north of Indianapolis.  Subject to change and I recommend to stay with us for forecast updates heading into Sunday morning.

I’m working on the long-range forecast.  Right now it can be summed up in one word: COLD!  A 7day forecast you have to see to believe… though you might not want to see it if you’re wanting warmth.

I’m getting sick and tired of winter any sign of us hitting 60 soon

This is very depressing! I am so ready for sunshine and just 60 degree weather would seam wonderful.
