Winter Weather Advisory

***Winter Weather Advisory***
A winter weather advisory is in effect from 10pm Friday through 10am Saturday.  This includes Indianapolis and cities to the north.

The SkyTrak 13 Weather Team is tracking a wintry mess for Friday night and Saturday.  This will start as snow then change to a wintry mix that will include some freezing rain and the potential for ice.  The best chance for a few inches of snow and some ice will be north of Indianapolis.  For much of central Indiana, there will be an inch or 2 of snow that will mix with sleet and change to rain.  This will mainly be a rain event on Saturday, with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
As colder air returns, the rain may briefly change back to a wintry mix and light snow before ending later Saturday night.  Sunday will be dry, but colder.
We are also still tracking potential winter storm for Tuesday and Wednesday next week.  It is still too early for snowfall potential, but we will know more this weekend.  We will keep you updated on any and all updates.  Please do be prepared for snow Tuesday and Wednesday.
