Winter Pattern Stays

By · December 9, 2013 at 7:50 am

Wow! What a morning in Central Indiana today. We have had more than 100 school delays or closings, due primarily to slick roads. Highs will stay below freezing so be careful when driving or walking on slick spots.

Tonight, expect a little snow…1 to 2 inches is possible thru much of the area with the heavier amounts falling south. Look for the snow to fall after 11 pm in Indy and end during the Tuesday morning rush hour.

The week ahead looks mainly cool, with Thursday’s high only 22 degrees. Another round of light snow could come in Friday night and Saturday.

In case you are wondering, check out these Indianapolis snow statistics.

Since December 1st.   4.7″

Average snow               1.1″

Above averge by  3.6 inches so far this mornth!

Have a great day,

Chuck Lofton
