Windy & Warm

Warmth returns to Central Indiana, but not without some pretty hefty wind gusts.

Sunshine and 70s, just the forecast I like to see!  Highs will reach the mid 70s today with a few clouds dotting the sky.  Temps are warming up thanks to a southerly breeze, but at times we’ll see wind gusts up to 30mph, so a windy day is expected.

Tonight lows drop to the upper 50s, but stays windy.  Wind gusts up to 25mph are possible.

Friday, we will likely hit the upper 70s to low 80s.   Expect sunshine with wind gusts up to 35mph.  At times, the wind may be a bit stronger than that.

Friday night into Saturday a cold front moves into the state bringing showers and t-storms.  There’s a “slight risk” of severe weather for the state right now.  We’ll be watching for damaging winds and large hail.  More showers and t-storms are likely on Sunday.  We’ll be watching the forecast closely, so stay tuned as we update the chance for severe weather and the timing of the upcoming storms.
