The obvious answer? It’s not in Central Indiana!
It looks like we’ll stay dry for the next few days too. Highs today will reach the low 80s with mostly sunny skies. There’s an area of low pressure over Texas, that’s trying to make it up to us, but high pressure is in control over our state, and most of the moisture will miss us for now. It’s a slow moving system, so we’ll have to see who wins the battle, high, or low pressure.
Tuesday looks mainly dry. Highs will reach the low 80s again with partly cloudy skies. There’s a 10% chance for a few sprinkles in the viewing area.
Wednesday highs drop to the upper 70s (the seasonal high this time of year). Then Thursday and Friday, there’s a 20% chance of rain or isolated t-storms.
We’ll keep you updated on the rain chances. Today will be the 11th day of September with no rain. And, on the three days that rained this month, only .17″ was measured in Indianapolis.
