It will be an interesting weekend of weather across central Indiana. Saturday will be sunny and mild, but on Sunday there is a chance for a light wintry mix. The weather is never boring in Indiana.
Skies will be clear Friday night, with lows near 30 degrees. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday, with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. These numbers are 10-15 degrees above average. The weather pattern changes on Sunday, with clouds and a light wintry mix developing late morning. As colder air pushes into central Indiana, temperatures will fall through the 20s and it will be cold enough for some light snow Sunday night. Right now we are not forecasting any accumulations, but we are forecasting a blast of arctic air. This chill will last through next week and into the new year. Highs will struggle into the upper teens and lower 20s and lows will be in the single digits a couple of mornings next week. There is another chance for light snow later Wednesday and Thursday. We will keep you updated on the snow chances and the cold.
