After an at times rainy and stormy Wednesday, we are timing a weather pattern change. A few lingering showers will finally end overnight. It will still be muggy, with lows in the 60s.
There is some sun in the Thursday forecast, with highs in the lower 80s. A developing cold front will arrive Thursday evening. This front will bring rain chances back to central Indiana for a few hours Thursday night and early Friday.
Once the cold front moves out, a milder air mass arrives. This will mean lower humidity levels for Friday and most of the weekend.
Highs will be in the 70s on Friday, near 80 on Saturday and in the 80s for Father’s Day on Sunday. Higher heat and humidity return early next week, with scattered storm chances.
