Flooding is the other type of severe weather we are tracking. Rain totals are near 2.5 inches across parts of Vermillion and Fountain counties. This is leading to flooding. There are reports of secondary roads under water in Vermillion county. Other pockets of heavy rain overnight and on Wednesday may cause more flooding across central Indiana. Please don’t travel over any road that has water over it.
The heaviest rain will start to lift north overnight, with a few lingering showers early Wednesday. Rain and storms are in the forecast for Wednesday.
Some sun is back in the forecast for Thursday, with just a slight chance for a shower late in the day. Highs will be in the 80s. Friday will be sunny and less humid, with highs 75-80 degrees. Our weather patten will dry out and warm up by the weekend.
