Showers and thunderstorms are not out of the question as we go through tonight, and Sunday looks to be a repeat of today.
If you have evening plans, take the rain gear with you. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight.
As for rain totals from today, up to 2″ of rain was reported in isolated spots where heavy thunderstorms set up. Here’s what fell in “official” rain gauges:
Scattered showers and isolated storms will continue until overnight. Sunday’s forecast is very similar to Saturday’s set up. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s with scattered showers and storms. The normal high for this time of year is 85, so we’re significantly cooler.
In the 7 day forecast, not much is changing. Scattered showers and storms, and below normal temps rule the next week. As said in previous posts, not everyone will see rain every day, but the potential for scattered showers and storms is in the forecast.
