The tornado count from Sunday is at 10. That count may change, as the National Weather Service continues to survey the damage. Two of those tornadoes touched down near Kokomo. Another 2 in Grant county, 1 in Atlanta in northern Hamilton county, 1 in Lebanon, 1 near Bedford and 1 in southwestern Indiana. We will keep you upated.
The weather pattern will remain dry through late Wednesday. We need the quiet weather pattern to clean up after Sunday’s severe weather. Skies will be mostly clear tonight, with lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Forecast highs on Tuesday, with some sun are in the upper 40s and lower 50s. It won’t be as windy.
Rain chances return later Wednesday night. Rain is in the forecast for Thursday and Friday and may linger into Saturday. By Saturday, we will also be tracking arctic air, so some of the showers may start to mix with a few flurries. We will keep you updated. Be prepared for a big drop in temperature by the weekend, with highs in the 30s on Saturday and only in the 20s on Sunday.
