Sunny start, snowy finish to weekend

By · March 22, 2013 at 9:36 am

7daymarch22The weekend starts off sunny, with a high of 42 for Friday and 46 for Saturday. But Gulf moisture will bring some snow starting early Sunday morning.

Snow develops well after midnight Saturday night, with anywhere from two to four inches from the Indianapolis metro to areas north, and a wintry mix in the southern third of the state.

At this point it looks like the snow will be in central Indiana by 4:00 am Sunday and will stick around throughout the morning. Areas to the north will see all snow, but other areas will see lower totals if they get a mix. Snow will be over by Monday morning.

Temperatures will remain in the thirties and forties through next week.
