In these areas, up to 3″ of snow is possible with a few isolated areas picking up more. Generally south of I-70, 1-2″ of snow is possible.
The snow showers should taper off by this evening, leaving spotty snow showers and flurries over night with temps dropping into the mid and upper teens.
Monday, scattered snow showers and flurries are possible, with no accumulation likely at this point. Highs will only reach the upper 20s with wind gusts up to 30 mph. Wind chills will be in the teens.
Tuesday looks to be the best day of the week with partly cloudy skies and highs around 30 degrees.
Starting Wednesday through Friday, we have a daily chance of snow through Friday. We’ll have to wait and see how this latest possible winter weather event shapes up.
