Sunday Showers

Radar update at 12:50pm continues to show the heaviest, steadiest rain falling south of I-70…where it’s been a wash-out of a day.  But the northern fringe of the rain shield, albeit light, is creeping north of Indianapolis now and will produce steadier rain drops in places like Muncie, Noblesville, Lebanon and Frankfort this afternoon.

Radar rainfall estimates indicate over 1″ amounts south of Terre Haute-Martinsville-Greensburg line.  An additional .25″ to .50″ is possible prior to Monday morning south of I-70.

Rain will become scattered, even south of Indianapolis, Monday… but a daily chance of afternoon showers and storms remains in the forecast everyday this week.  I’m in the Skytrak 13 Weather Center analyzing the latest data sets and will have an updated 7 day forecast later this afternoon – Sean Ash
