Temps will be warming up across Central Indiana this weekend, but our risk for stormy and even severe weather will increase Sunday. All of Central Indiana is under a slight risk for severe storms Sunday.
Before we get to that forecast, let’s take a look at the rest of today and tonight.
Highs will reach the low 50s today with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of sprinkles. Most spots will remain dry today.
Operation Football temps will fall into the 40s, and be comfortable. Again, there’s a slight chance of a sprinkle.
Saturday, highs surge into the low 60s. An isolated shower is possible, but rain becomes more likely Saturday night into Sunday.
Sunday, all of Central Indiana is under the threat for severe weather.
The timing of the storms appears to be early afternoon through the evening. We’ll keep you posted about a more specific timeline as we get closer to the event.
As of right now, the biggest threat is damaging winds, but an isolated tornado is possible too.
