Highs today will reach the upper 70s across Central Indiana. After round one of morning rain moves out, we will have dry time with the chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon. A few rays of sunshine will be possible, but as of right now, I’d say a mix of sun and clouds, with the clouds winning will rule the day.
Overnight, an isolated shower is possible, as temps only drop to the mid 60s.
Monday, the entire state of Indiana is under a slight risk for severe storms. Showers and thunderstorms will develop throughout your Monday. Some storms could possibly turn severe, with damaging wind, hail, and even isolated tornadoes a threat. Heavy rain and lightning is a threat from any thunderstorm.
The rain ends early Tuesday, and temps only hit the low 80s. This “cool down” sticks with us through Wednesday before more heat and humidity build by the end of the week.
