Strong to Severe Storms Possible this Afternoon/Evening

Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop this afternoon.  The timeframe we’re watching right now for storms to move through Central Indiana is 3pm to 10pm.  Large hail is the top threat from storms as well as frequent lightning.  We will also be monitoring for damaging winds and isolated tornadoes.

All of Central Indiana is under a slight risk for severe storms.

Afternoon highs will reach the low 80s today.


Tonight temps fall into low 60s as the storms end and we start to dry out.

Tomorrow temps are cooler in the 70s, by race day we’re back to 80 with sunshine.
