Strong to Severe Storms Possible Saturday

By · August 13, 2011 at 7:01 am

Strong to severe storms are likely late this afternoon into tonight across Central Indiana.

Highs today will reach the mid 80s with a mix of sun and clouds.  Late this afternoon into tonight showers and thunderstorms will likely develop.  The entire state is under a slight risk for severe storms, which include damaging wind, large hail, and we can’t rule out an isolated tornado.

Overnight, showers and storms come to an end as temps drop to the mid 60s.

Sunday, we’re on the backside of the system that’s bringing us the severe weather chance today, and that means cooler temps and a chance for scattered showers.  Highs Sunday will only reach the upper 70s!

We dry out Monday and Tuesday… but by Wednesday we’re back into rain chances and temps warming up into the mid to upper 80s!
