Get ready for a hot and muggy day with high temps hitting the upper 80s across Central Indiana. Isolated storms are possible this afternoon and evening with some storms turning severe. Damaging wind, heavy rain, and large hail are our primary concerns.
Overnight more thunderstorms are possible, sticking around Saturday morning, and redeveloping again Saturday afternoon with highs in the mid 80s. Again, the entire state is under a slight chance for severe weather Saturday. Damaging wind, large hail, and heavy downpours are our primary concerns, but we cannot rule out the chance for an isolated tornado. I don’t think we’re going to see a washout, but be prepared to move outdoor plans indoors as storms pop up and pass.
Sunday morning we’ll see an end to the rain, and drier air will move in. Highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 70s with partly cloudy skies for the afternoon.
Monday is dry with highs around 80. But, late Monday afternoon into Tuesday, another chance at showers and storms moves in.
