Spring is Inching Closer… Warm Weather Not in Sight

By · March 18, 2013 at 4:44 pm

Spring is in view… but it will feel more like winter across Central Indiana.

We’ve had a soggy day… here are the 24 hour rain totals:

rain totals

Temps will fall into the low to mid 20s tonight with any remaining drizzle changing over to flurries.  Because temps fall below freezing, a few slick spots will be possible for Tuesday morning’s commute.

Tuesday highs top out in the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies.  The sun will be back!  Winds will gust out of the west up to 25mph.

We officially enter spring on Wednesday, but we could see flurries, and highs only top out in the low 30s, with breezy conditions.

The normal high this time of year is around 53, we are no where near that in the 7 day forecast.  In fact, a wintry mix that includes snow could be coming our way Sunday into Monday.
