Highs today will soar into the upper 80s, and storm chances stick around for the first part of the weekend.
The day won’t be a washout, but any time after the noon hour, a spotty shower or thunderstorm is possible. The chance for rain goes up the later we head into the afternoon/evening. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but an isolated storm may turn severe with damaging wind and hail possible.
Don’t cancel outdoor plans, but keep the rain gear handy, and checking the radar isn’t a bad idea too.
Overnight scattered showers and storms come to an end and patchy fog will likely form. Temps tonight drop to the mid to upper 60s.
Sunday morning, a few spotty showers or thunderstorms are possible, but will end to give way to a partly cloudy day. Highs Sunday will reach the low to mid 80s, and will feel less humid.
Monday looks great… and by Wednesday, we’ll be tracking our next chance of significant rain.
