Soak up the sun as much as you can today, even though it’s chilly, because snow returns to Central Indiana tonight.
Highs today will reach about 30 degrees with increasing clouds, and snow showers developing for this evening into the overnight.
Saturday snow is likely, especially Northeast and East of the metro where 1-2″ of snow is possible. Around the Indy metro 1″ of snow is possible. This isn’t going to be a huge snowfall, but will probably make roadways slick. It’s all coming from the major storm on the East Coast. The storm is retrograding (moving backwards from east to west), so we’ll see a bit of snow. Highs will be right at the freezing mark tomorrow.
Sunday flurries are possible, but we’re not expecting accumulating snow as temps reach the low to mid 30s.
