Punxsutawney Phil may say we’ll have an early spring, but Mother Nature is bringing us plenty of winter in the next few days.
This morning, we picked up 1.3″ of snow officially, bringing our total for the season to 18.9″, which is 1.7″ above average.
Plan on highs in the 20s with snow showers and flurries for Sunday. A fresh coating of snow is possible.
We nudge to just below freezing on Monday with light snow likely. There could be another 1 to 3″ of accumulation.
Yet more snow is possible Tuesday, mainly for the northern half of the state.
We finally climb out of the cold Wednesday as highs break the freezing mark for the first time in nearly a week.
We should hit low 40s by Thursday with rain moving in. Our average high is 37 this time of year.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
