Snow prediction update
By
We’re under a winter storm watch starting Tuesday at 7:00 pm through Wednesday 7:00 pm. (See all counties under the watch.)
The latest guidance that came in at 11:30 am Monday shows a big change in snow totals Wednesday. Everything depends on the rain/snow line but the models suggest that the Indianapolis metro area could receive 3.5” to 7” of snow.
Everything starts as rain, then a rain/snow mix, then snow. The more mix we have, the less snow we’ll get.
The models will change a bit tomorrow, so stay tuned to Eyewitness News for the latest weather updates.
