A small break in the heat and humidity is coming our way today!
By the way… if you were lucky enough to get rain yesterday… how much fell in your backyard? I got sprinkles downtown and over to the Glendale Mall a nice downpour. I then headed over to Broad Ripple, and NOTHING!
Highs still look to hit 90 today, but with dew points at a more tolerable level, it won’t “feel” so bad outside today. Partly cloudy skies will give way to mostly sunny skies as we head into the afternoon.
Overnight, it’s mostly clear with temps in the 60s!
Tuesday will be another comfortable day with temps around 90.
Wednesday we crank the heat up, and the humidity starts to build again. Heat indices could push to 100 degrees if not a little more through Friday.
The next best chance of rain comes Friday and Saturday.
If you’re already looking forward to the Brickyard 400… expect the upper 80s with a 20% chance for an isolated shower or storm.
