From Indy’s southside points south, there’s a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight for the possibility of severe storms. We’ll see periods of heavy rain with thunder and lightning plus the threat of hail and high winds. Some areas have already picked up more than 1-2″ of rain with more to come.
We can use the rain, as you can see from the latest Drought Monitor.
Once the storms taper after midnight, we’ll have a week’s worth of dry and quiet weather ahead with pleasantly cool temps all weekend long.
I’ll have updates on Twitter and Facebook as the storms roll through.
