BySevere storms possible in central Indiana Tuesday. A cold front slams though the state bringing VERY strong winds. T-storms likely during the morning through early afternoon. Damaging wind is the biggest severe weather threat. Sustained winds look to be around 30-40mph with gusts near 50mph. Some may be even stronger.

Thanks again to the National Weather Service and the local media for the false Tornado warnings all across Central Indiana. Someday when it really happens everyone will ignore you. Years ago the sirens mean’t there was a tornado. Now the sirens mean that it might rain.

The local media is not responsible for issuing tornado warnings, we report them to keep people safe. The National Weather Service issues tornado warnings based on radar and local spotter reports. It is up to each county when to sound the sirens. Many counties sound the tornado warning sirens if the county is under a Tornado Watch and a Severe T-Storm Warning at the same time. I hope this clarifies your statement.
