Storms Redevelop Saturday Afternoon

The first significant measurable rain in about two weeks fell in Central Indaina this morning! As we head through the afternoon, we are expecting some more storms to develop, and some could be severe.

Finally, rain!  The first significant measurable rain in two weeks!

Highs today will hit the upper 80s.  A pop up shower or storm is possible at any time, but we will also see breaks of sunshine.  The best time for storms to redevelop after the morning rain, will be this afternoon/evening as a cold front moves through the state.  A slight risk of severe weather is outlined just SE of the state.  Heavy rain and damaging wind are the biggest threats.

Overnight, showers and storms end… and lows drop to the upper 60s.

Sunday, we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds will less humidity and highs in the mid to upper 80s.

In the next seven days we’re watching for more dry conditions.
