Scattered Showers & A Frigid Start to 2012

By · December 30, 2011 at 4:57 am

Keep the rain gear handy… scattered showers are likely across Central Indiana today as highs hit 50 degrees.

Rain totals look to stay under .25″, but showers are possible at any time today with wind gusts up to 25mph.

Tonight, rain showers are still likely as temps drop to the low to mid 30s.  The rain will end early Saturday morning.

Saturday looks great with highs around 50 and partly cloudy skies.  If you’re heading out for New Year’s Eve, you’ll find temps in the 40s with increasing clouds.

After 3am New Year’s Day rain showers will develop, and scattered showers are possible Sunday.  A few snowflakes will mix in too.

MUCH colder air moves in Monday.  Highs will only reach the mid to upper 20s with wind gusts up to 30mph, so single digit wind chills are likely.

Another cold day on Tuesday before more mild weather starts to build in for the middle of the week.
