It’s the last full day of Fall, but temperatures are doing anything but cooling down around Central Indiana.
Highs today are expected to warm up to the low to mid 90s. We’re forecasting a high of 94 degrees, that will set a new record high temperature for Indianapolis. A high of 93 was last set on this date in 1955.
Overnight, lows drop to to the mid to upper 60s with partly cloudy skies. A late isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible.
Wednesday, highs hit the mid to upper 80s, but showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast. Not everyone will see rain, maybe just some sprinkles, or a quick downpour. (Fall officially begins at 11:09pm)
Thursday, we hit the low 90s again… before a major change comes for the weekend!
