Scattered showers are likely across Central Indiana today, and we may even hear a rumble of thunder.
Rain is more likely through midday, with spotty showers remaining in the forecast this afternoon. Most spots will pick up less than .25″ of rain.
Despite the rain, highs will still push into the low to mid 60s. The normal high this time of year is 44.
Tonight, the rain ends and mostly cloudy skies will stick around as lows drop to the mid to upper 50s.
Monday I’m forecasting record highs. Indianapolis should hit 70 with a mix of sun and clouds and winds out of the south up to 20mph. The record is 69 from 1982. The last time we had a 70 degree day in december was 2001!
Tuesday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely with highs in the 50s.
Behind the rain will be more seasonal temps in the 40s on Wednesday, and by Friday more rain is likely.
