Highs today will reach 70 degrees with wind gusts out of the Southwest up to 25mph. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible, especially south of I-70 today. The entire day will not be a washout, but we will see a chance for a shower or thunderstorm at almost any time, so keep the rain gear handy! There is a front that’s parked just south of the state, as the front moves north or south, our rain chances go up and down. So, if you’re wondering why this forecast is so tricky, that’s the challenge in it!
Overnight, more showers and storms move in. Right now, it looks rainy starting as early as 7pm, and lasting past midnight.
Sunday, temps will be in the low 50s for the start of your Easter Day. Showers and storms will be possible again at any time, but mainly south of I-70 for the majority of the day.
Monday, we will be watching for some thunderstorms to be strong to severe. By Monday… some spots south of I-70 could have 5 inches of rain, so checking in with the forecast will be important through the weekend.
I have my eyes on Thursday… the afternoon looks dry… and sunshine returns Friday. Yep, it’s a soggy forecast.
