A storm moves in Sunday as rain in Missouri and Illinois pushes northeastward into Indiana. Temperatures which dropped below freezing late Saturday night should start to warm as we head into the morning, so we’re not expecting wintry precipitation in the Indy Metro. By morning, we’ll likely be in the mid 30s and 40s by midday on the way to highs in the low 50s.
In contrast, our friends in New England are digging out of the Blizzard of 2013. It was an impressive storm! 5th biggest for Boston and 2nd biggest for Hartford. Widespread 2-3 feet totals were reported. The list of rankings comes courtesy of the National Weather Service office in Boston.
Rain moves out by late Sunday night paving the way for a slightly cooler but mainly dry workweek. The exception may be Friday when a chance of flurries and snow showers moves in.
Finally, our Hoosier Pic of the day from Tony Hickman in Lewisville. He shot this beautiful sunset Friday night.
