Rain Ends… Watching Next Chance of Snow

By · January 27, 2012 at 5:04 am

This morning light drizzle and patchy fog is likely across Central Indiana… but sunshine is set to return this afternoon… with more snow moving in tonight!

Highs today will reach the low 40s with sunshine developing for the afternoon.

Tonight, clouds increase and after midnight light snow is possible.  South of I-70 a rain/snow mix is possible with up to 1″ of accumulation.  Around the Indianapolis area, we’re looking at about an inch of snow, some spots north including Kokomo could see up to 2″ of snow.  Overnight temps drop to the upper 20s.  This will be a very light snow event, but slick spots will be possible early Saturday morning.  The snow looks to taper off by 7am Saturday.

The clouds break throughout the day Saturday as highs top out in the upper 30s.

Sunday, flurries are possible as highs dip into the low 30s.

Monday and Tuesday the sunshine returns as temps warm back into the 40s, and close to 50!

More rain moves in Tuesday afternoon into Thursday as temps remain above average.

i like that the temp is staying warmer
