Rain chances are on the increase this weekend, and that includes the forecast for the Indy 500.
Highs will reach the mid 60s today. Clouds will be on the increase and isolated sprinkles are possible at anytime this afternoon/evening.
Today will not be a washout, but we can’t rule out a spotty shower.
Tonight, isolated showers stay in the forecast with temps in the upper 40s.
For the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500, a chance of rain has to be in the forecast. As of right now, the morning looks mainly dry, but scattered showers have to be added to the afternoon forecast.
There may not be rain directly over IMS, however, we will be watching the forecast closely as rain will be in the area.
For Memorial Day scattered showers and storms are possible with a big warm up in the mid to upper 80s by the middle of next week.
