Rain Chances Increase for the Week

By · October 24, 2010 at 7:22 am

Highs today will hit the low to mid 70s in Central Indiana with mostly cloudy skies.  A spotty shower or thunderstorm will be possible.  Some storms that pop will contain a brief heavy rain, and gusty winds.  West Central Indiana is under a slight risk for severe storms.

Overnight, spotty showers or thunderstorms are possible as lows drop to around 60 degrees.  Not everyone will get rain, so keep in mind that everything will be very scattered.

Monday, the chance for showers and t-storms increases the later we head into the afternoon.  Highs will push close to 80 degrees!

The best chance for soaking rain moves in late Monday night through midday Tuesday.  A strong cold front will push through the state bringing scattered showers and storms.  Some storms may be strong with wind gusts up to 40mph.
