Highs today will hit the low 90s across Central Indiana. It could be our warmest day of the year (so far), and our 3rd time hitting the 90 degree mark! With the humidity, it will feel more like triple digit heat, so please use caution when spending time outside! A Heat Advisory is in effect this afternoon for a portion of the viewing area south of I-70. An isolated pop up storm is possible.
Overnight, lows will drop to the upper 60s, any storms that pop up during the day will diminish as daytime heating subsides.
For Father’s Day, highs “only” hit the upper 80s, but there’s a slight chance for severe weather. For the afternoon and evening we’ll be monitoring the forecast for severe storms containing damaging wind, heavy rain, and large hail.
A daily chance for pop up storms and very humid conditions sticks around through Wednesday with temps hitting close to 90 each day.
