Rain continues to diminish…leaving behind a cloudy, very humid evening. Some rather impressive rainfall totals occurred in the Florida-like atmosphere today. The slow-moving nature of these “pulse” storms allowed some totals to exceed 1″.
But some areas didn’t see a drop a rain! We’ll be under a similar set-up Sunday… so we can essentially recycle today’s forecast. Though a shower is possible in the morning, the greatest coverage of rain/storms happens aftern 12pm and before 8pm.
Much like today, it’s difficult to say where most coverage occurs. Chances are in the 30-40% range the next couple of days. With no change in airmass… any storms that develop will have flash flooding potential.
No break from the high heat/humidity until next week. Stay cool and stay safe from afternoon storms by frequently checking Doppler 13 Radar: http://www.wthr.com/category/256369/indianapolis-live-doppler-radar
