We picked up a fresh coating of snow today and only made it to a high of 24.
Now, more snow is on the way, though it doesn’t look like much. Another Alberta Clipper swings through Monday, bringing the heaviest snow to Northern Indiana. Right now, it looks like most of the Indy Metro could get up to 1″, while 1-2″ look possible for Monticello, Kokomo and Muncie. farther north, Marion and Fort Wayne could get 2-4″. The snow moves into Northwest Indiana early morning, and sinks southward toward Indy by midday, then moves east into Ohio during the afternoon.
We’ve had 3 straight days below freezing and could tack on two more before a thaw. But it’s coming! And the next system moving in Thursday looks like mainly rain (slight chance of mix if it arrives early or stays late). We surge into the 40s to end the week. Our average high is 37.
And here’s our Hoosier Pic at 6pm from Brad Brown of New Palestine. He spotted this bird in his backyard!
Have a great week!
