More Rain & Isolated Storms on the Way

By · December 8, 2012 at 7:22 pm

More rain is expected to move into Central Indiana overnight, and by Sunday afternoon, thunderstorms are possible.

If you’re heading out tonight, you should stay dry through midnight.

It’s after midnight that rain moves in and temps fall into the low 40s by Sunday morning.  Rain is likely Sunday morning.  We could see a break midday, before more showers and possibly thunderstorms move in Sunday afternoon and evening.  Highs will top out in the mid 50s.  The normal high this time of year is in the low 40s.

Behind the rain and storms is much colder air.  Early Monday morning a few snow showers may mix in with rain.  At this time, no snow accumulation is expected.

In the 7 day forecast temps fall into the low 20s by Tuesday morning, and we only warm up into the mid 30s during the day.  We stay dry through Friday with temps increasing a little each day.  Our next chance of rain moves in Saturday.
