Whew! What a way to kick off the unofficial start to summer. Monday Indy hit 90 degrees, that’s the first time since last September… but we know it won’t be the last!
Highs today will hit the low 90s across the area, and it will feel even warmer because of the humidity. This afternoon it will feel like the mid 90s, so make sure to drink lots of water and take it easy if you can! We’ll see sunshine to start the day, but there’s a chance for a pop up thunderstorm late this afternoon. Some storms may be strong to severe NW of Lafayette and North of Kokomo.
Overnight, any showers and storms that pop up will come to an end as lows drop to the upper 60s.
Wednesday, we’ll have another shot at a pop up shower or thunderstorm as highs “cool” into the upper 80s.
A better chance for rain moves in Thursday, it’s to early to tell if any thunderstorms will be strong to severe.
Check out the 7 day below for a preview of the weekend, and more warmth to come!
