A big temperature plunge is coming our way… but not before we enjoy one more day of above average temps in the upper 60s.
Highs will reach the upper 60s today with increasing clouds. Winds will gust out of the south in the Indy metro up to 40 mph. A Wind Advisory has been issued in West Central Indiana for wind gusts up to 45mph.
Showers and storms move in after 11 tonight as a power cold front eyes Central Indiana. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, and even a rain/snow mix is expected. Up to one inch of rain is possible. The soggiest time looks to be between 2am and 7am Monday, with rain exiting the state by noon.
We’ll start Monday with highs just after midnight in the 50s, and fall into the 30s by the evening commute.
Tuesday we wake up to temps in the 20s! For the most part the 7 day forecast is looking dry and cool starting Tuesday.
