Merry Christmas Central Indiana!
Today will be windy and warm for your celebrations. Mostly sunny skies and highs about 10 degrees above average will settle into the state. Highs will reach the mid 40s with wind gusts up to 30 mph.
Tonight, the wind dies down and skies remain clear with lows in the mid to upper 20s.
Monday, more sunshine, but few more clouds sneak in with temps in the mid 40s.
Late Monday night (after midnight) and Tuesday a rain/snow mix is likely. At this time, Tuesday morning through the early afternoon, we could see light snow accumulation. We will watch this closely, because as the track of this system develops, the forecast will change.
The cooler temps in the 30s will just be a taste of winter as we return to the mid 40s by next Friday.
