It will be mainly cloudy today with showers and a few thunderstorms possible. The best chance of rain will be along and south of I-74 in west central Indiana and along and south of I-70 in the east central Indiana viewing area. Rain will diminish early evening, with the loss of daytime heating. Afternoon highs will climb to near 80 degrees in Indy and it will be a few degrees warmer in north central Indiana.
Tonight will be mainly cloudy and quiet with temperatures falling into the mid 60s.
Another round of showers and storms will be possible Sunday afternoon. Not everyone will see rain today or tomorrow so be sure to take your SkyTrak13 weather app with you as you head out this weekend. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s.
The unsettled pattern continues Monday and Tuesday. More showers and thunderstorms will be possible Monday afternoon into the evening. A cold front arrives on Tuesday bringing more thunderstorms and cooler air to follow.
By Wednesday, temperatures will fall into the upper 50s and only climb into the mid 70s.
The cooler conditions will continue through the work week.
